It is a substitute for positioning pins and has become the preferred material for positioning pins, among which zirconia is the most widely used material for ceramic pins.

The production process of zirconia ceramic pins generally includes the following seven steps:
1、Raw material preparation:
select high-purity zirconia powder as the main raw material, add a small amount of additives, and mix well.
The mixed raw materials are molded using a press or injection molding machine, usually by pressing, extrusion or injection molding to make ceramic green bodies of various shapes. For the production of zirconia ceramic positioning pins, powder injection molding technology (PIM) is generally used.
Put the formed ceramic body into an oven for drying to remove impurities such as moisture and organic substances.
Put the dried ceramic body into a high-temperature furnace for sintering, so that it can reach the density and hardness suitable for the application at high temperature.
After sintering, the zirconia ceramic pin needs further processing, such as cutting, drilling, polishing, etc., in order to meet different application requirements.
In order to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the surface of the zirconia ceramic pin, it can be surface treated. For example, use diamond grinding wheels for grinding and polishing to make the surface smoother.
Finally, the manufactured zirconia ceramic pins are strictly inspected to ensure that they meet quality standards and meet customer requirements.
