Description

Features of alumina ceramic plate:

1. High hardness

According to the Shanghai Institute of Silicate Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Rockwell hardness of alumina ceramic plate is HRA80-90, which is second only to diamond and far exceeds the wear resistance of wear-resistant steel and stainless steel.

2. Excellent wear resistance

The wear resistance of alumina ceramic plate is equivalent to 266 times that of manganese steel and 171.5 times that of high-chromium cast iron. Under the same working conditions, the service life of the equipment can be extended by at least ten times.

3. Light weight

Its density is 3.5g/cm3, which is only half of steel, which can greatly reduce the equipment load.

4. High melting point

Alumina has a high melting point, high hardness and high mechanical strength, although the mechanical strength temperature is reduced to over 1000 °C. The thermal shock stability decreases due to the relatively large increase in the thermal expansion coefficient.

5. Insulation and acid resistance

Alumina is an electrically insulating material with high electrical resistivity. It also has good chemical stability of alumina, so it has good corrosion resistance. Alumina is insoluble in water, only slightly soluble in strong acid and alkaline aqueous solutions.
