Zirconia Ceramics

Zirconia Ceramic (ZrO2 Ceramic) combines high strength and excellent toughness. It also offers outstanding wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Common ZrO2 Ceramics include YSZ Ceramic(yttria-stabilized zirconia), Mg-PSZ Ceramic(magnesia-partially stabilized zirconia), etc. We also offer ZTA Ceramic(zirconia-toughened alumina) and ATZ ceramic parts for demanding applications.

Overview

Zirconia ceramics are generally used in applications that require high bending strength and high fracture, chipping, and cracking resistance, such as zirconia ceramic structural parts/zirconia components. They are ideal for extreme mechanical environments, especially in impact-prone applications，such as zirconia pins. Zirocnia ceramic also can be used as ceramic guide rail for semiconductor and display industries. Due to its crack resistance and low thermal expansion, it can be joined with metals like steel (e.g., zirconia plunger).

Zirconia ceramic parts offer much better durability than conventional metal alloys and steels in a variety of industries like mining, food and beverage, oil and gas, energy, and battery.
